LECTURE AT SFUAD

I will be giving a lecture in conjunction with the ORIGINS exhibit at the Santa Fe University of Art & Design

Wednesday, December 5, 2012, 6pm, Tipton Hall, SFUAD

The theme for this year’s ISEA, “Machine Wilderness,” references the New Mexico region as an area of rapid growth and technology alongside wide expanses of open land; it aims to present artists’ and technologists’ ideas for a more humane interaction between technology and wilderness. The initiative involves an expansive, regional collaboration throughout fall 2012 that includes art exhibitions, public events, performances and educational activities that inspire a discourse of global proportions on the subjects of art, technology and nature.

In gratitude to the supportive Houston Photo Community, I've donated a piece to the Houston Center for Photography for their benefit auction. Each year, HCP holds an annual print auction where artists, galleries, and collectors from all over the world contribute high caliber photographic art that is auctioned to benefit HCP´s operating fund. One-hundred percent of the proceeds go directly to support HCP exhibitions, educational initiatives, outreach programs, and the award winning publication spot magazine.
